Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: June 11, 2026
Welcome to TextToGutenberg! These are the terms and conditions for accessing and using our web application located at texttogutenberg.com (hereinafter referred to as the "Website" or "Platform").
By accessing this Website, utilizing our code generation utility, or utilizing our block configurations, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not accept or agree to all of these Terms, you must immediately cease using our platform, tools, and services.
In these terms, "we", "us", "our", and "TextToGutenberg" refer to Amila Udara, and "you" and "your" refer to you, the individual user of the platform.
1. Eligibility and Use
You may use our platform only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations. Use of this platform is available to all age groups. However, if you are a minor, it is the sole responsibility of your parents or legal guardians to determine whether our services are appropriate for you.
By using our platform, you represent and warrant that you have the full right, power, and authority to enter into these Terms and to perform all of your obligations hereunder. You further represent that you are under no legal disability or contractual restriction that prevents you from adhering to these Terms.
2. Daily Usage Limits and System Parameters
We currently provide our core block conversion utility as a free service. To maintain server stability, mitigate API operational expenses, and ensure fair resource distribution, we enforce a strict daily limitation of five (5) block generations per user.
This limit is monitored and calculated using your browser's local storage properties. Any deliberate attempt to bypass, clear, or manipulate browser parameters to exceed these daily limits is strictly prohibited and constitutes a breach of these Terms.
3. Ownership and Intellectual Property Licenses
The property rights, source codes, layout designs, CSS scripts, backend proxy architectures, and conversion methods used on this platform belong exclusively to TextToGutenberg and Amila Udara.
License to Use: We grant you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable, and non-exclusive license to use the output HTML generated by our service for deployment on your personal or commercial WordPress websites. You are, however, strictly prohibited from reverse-engineering, copying, distributing, selling, or leasing any portion of our software, proprietary scripts, backend API configurations, or user interface elements without our prior written permission.
4. User Content and Input Policy
Certain features of the platform allow you to input, paste, or upload text or markdown content ("User Content") for formatting. You retain any copyright or intellectual property rights you may hold in the User Content you provide. We do not claim ownership over your original input text.
By providing User Content through the platform, you affirm and warrant that:
- Your content does not infringe, violate, or misappropriate any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Your content does not contain harmful code, malicious scripts, malware, or inappropriate/objectionable material.
- You assume full liability for the content you paste and the subsequent output code you paste onto your target WordPress platform.
5. Disclaimers of Warranties
Our services, templates, and codes are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TextToGutenberg disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or technical accuracy.
We do not guarantee that the generated HTML block configurations will display perfectly across all WordPress setups, theme structures, custom stylesheets, or plugin environments. The user accepts full responsibility for checking, reviewing, and testing the generated codes before publishing them on production websites.
6. Prohibited Activities
While utilizing our platform, you agree not to engage in any of the following activities:
- Using automated systems, spiders, scrapers, crawlers, or scripts to monitor, copy, or query the website or backend API files without express authorization.
- Taking any action that imposes, or may impose, an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our server hosting infrastructure.
- Attempting to modify, translate, adapt, edit, decompile, or reverse-engineer any software elements or API structures used by TextToGutenberg.
- Bypassing, disabling, or interfering with security-related components, parameter trackers, or features that limit copying or restrict access on the website.
7. Copyright Complaints (DMCA Policy)
We respect the intellectual property of others. If you believe in good faith that any content displayed or generated on this website infringes upon your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please submit a written complaint containing the location of the infringement, your full contact details, and a statement of ownership to: contact@texttogutenberg.com.
8. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TextToGutenberg, its administrator Amila Udara, and any affiliated agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the platform, or your violation of third-party rights.
